The Eastern Area office, in cooperation with the six recreation and parks councils and one nature center council is fortunate to include some of the finest programs and park sites in the county. The Eastern Area is highlighted by seven waterfront parks with the most recent addition, Wilson Point Park in the Middle River community. The programs and facilities give families an opportunity to partake in a variety of passive and active programs.
